New WTSDA Cho Dan Bo Ranks at SFA Family Martial Arts. Laura Pichler (8th Grade) and former SFA students Ellen Blackstone and Brian Throm have tested and earned the rank of Cho Dan Bo. Each were awarded a Midnight Blue Belt (symbolic of this achievement) on May 18, 2009 and have received certification and a letter of commendation from the Grandmaster of the World Tang Soo Do Association headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. They join Justin Jellinek (8th Grade) in achieving the highest rank that can be awarded to students practicing the unique style of Korean Martial Art taught at SFA. Congratulations to all!

Justin Jellinek has earned the rank of "Cho Dan Bo" (Black Belt Candidate). Justin is the first SFA Martial Arts student to achieve this rank (our program began in Fall 2002). This is the highest rank that can be awarded to students practicing the unique style of Korean Martial Art taught at SFA. Justin was awarded a midnight-blue belt (symbolic of this achievement) in class on Monday, February 23, 2009. Congratulations Justin!
